Pretty good piece on LeBron from the perspective of someone who wasn't always a fan (pretty well respected from a handicap and NBA knowledge perspective)

quote:

In the 2012 Finals, LeBron James’ defense made the best offensive player in the NBA, Kevin Durant, look overrated at times … a hypothesis that is blasphemous 99% of the season. For as good as Michael Jordan was, he NEVER dominated a game defensively like LeBron James did throughout the ENTIRE 2012 Playoffs. LeBron proved to us that he WAS and IS the best basketball defender of all-time, and as a result, started the discussion that his all-around game is the equivalent of Michael Jordan’s scoring prowess — now that LBJ has a ring to show for his efforts.

Not really sure to be honest. There's a few threads on him on PT if you want to take a look. A guy for 247 did a big article on him today that I haven't gotten around to reading yet.

Thanks. I'll take a look.

Yeah he wasn't even the best player on his own team while he was in his dang prime! He couldn't hold Lebron's jock.

Oh, for shite's sake, PJ.

Kobe can't even make it to the playoffs with the best Center in the league.

Why is that bait? Hell Jameer Nelson dragged Howard to the playoffs.
