It's more along the lines of when you started watching. Most people start watching around the time they enter middle or high school.

IMO even though it was before my time, the era where both zone defense and handchecking were allowed was the best.

The best era is the one where all the stars weren’t soft as baby shite and whining about all kinds of crap. The generation where players learned to play together and stars wanted to beat the other stars, not team up with them. Lebron has ruined the NBA

That's basically when you were in middle and high school, so it makes sense. It lines up with the chart for the most part.
