quote:

#Navy coach ken Niumatalolo: “That game was 1,000 percent my fault. Looked like that was our first live game. The first live stuff is usually against yourselves. That’s the worst Navy game we’ve every played. That’s my fault. I chose to block bags and tackle donuts. All my fault"

quote:

Niumatalolo: "You hope it doesn’t turn out that way and we talked in a lot of staff meetings ‘Are we going to be ready?’ I heard them and their legitimate concerns. Last time we tackled anybody was the bowl game. Nine months ago. ... We chose to go that way."

Don’t understand why he thought that’d be a good idea.

Glad he thinks the men that will one day fight for our freedom were weak enough to be taken out by a snotty nose

Their risk for getting the hoax virus was no better or worse by getting their teeth kicked in on national TV

A game plan only a moron could trip into

Fire him

Why even play if you aren’t going to prepare properly?

Sending his kids out with no physical prep is far more dangerous to their health than COVID.

I did not watch. F ESPN and not happy with the wokeness of my alma mater.

But Kenny showed accountability. He did not shift blame or throw anyone under the bus. He put it on himself.

There’s something to be said for that. Not a lot of that going around.

The sporting equivalent of “get woke, go broke. “ Hard to imagine a head coach decides that no contact or scrimmages is the best way to prepare is team.

Sarcasm?

Uh, he's like the best coach Navy has ever had in modern times.

It's not like Nick Saban is lining up to coach Navy.

Is there any particular reason why a bigger program hasn't gone after niumataolo?

He has had some very successful seasons at navy.

Why wouldn't a school like GT or Vandy go after him?

Because they are on yr2 post PJ and they've had their fill of those types of offenses for now.

Vandy

Because that would actually be a downgrade for him. Also, the offense.
