Verlander gonna get rocked yet again this post-season or what?
He’s been rocked three times already

When a team shifts like that, couldn't a batter go stand on the other side to "switch hit" Even if he is bluffing. He can see the shift, go bat lefty, defense shifts back, he goes back to right and over and over again until they play straight up? Or just learn how to dribble them down the wide open gaps.

Verlander is Kershaw 2.0. Just can’t get it done in the post season.
Because of two weak ground balls he got unlucky on? Or because of his career postseason ERA that is 0.02 higher than his regular season ERA?

0-5 in the frickin World Series. One of the best pitchers in the majors...future Hall of Famer...and the dude can't pitch to save his life in the World Series.
Hopefully he settles down and the bats are alive tonight.

Wish those two blondes on the left would follow the lead of Julia Rose

Lots of fans for teams who didn't get close to the WS giving information on one of the best pitchers in the last 20 years after giving up a run on 2 dribblers and a bunt

JV is going to be fine. If he can get the fastball going it is going to be a long night for the Nats

Jesus Christ he’s not pitching bad tonight.

Settles down? Infield single and a 55 mph ground ball that barely got out the infield. Yeah, terrible inning

10 first inning runs in 4 post season starts. We've lost the last 3.

Fact is, that’s an inning ending double play if you play the defense right
Unlike the 90’s Braves who positioned the defense on the pitch, Astros pitch away from the shift
It’s not Verlander’s fault

They didn’t even square a ball up that inning. That’s not his fault. If they didn’t put that dumbass shift on while throwing outside breaking balls.
