Don’t get me wrong, on paper they are easily the best 2 teams.

But this era of Bama-Clemson is having negative effects on the average college football fan. 10 years ago at the start of the season, nobody really had definitive ideas of who was in. Now they just anoint Bama and Clemson without giving any teams a benefit of the doubt. It’s simply growing old. CFB was fun because of the chaos.

It's not getting stale. The media's coverage of Alabama and Clemson is stale. They live in a bubble. There are so many teams that are chasing and it's entertaining as hell. There's still plenty of chaos.

The 44-16 drubbing was the beginning of the decline. The absolute fear is gone and absolute confidence is gone. For a decade they were able to say “we beat ourselves” and truly believe it. Can’t do that anymore. It’s not going to be a 6-6 season but they have a minimum of 2 losses this year

If the two teams were USC and Michigan, it would be declared by the media "The Golden Era of College Football."

Bama won’t be there after losing to LSU and not making the conference championship game.

Eh... not really. You could argue Georgia is right there with them. After that there is clear separation with the next tier of OSU, OU, LSU, Florida, Penn State, and now maybe Texas.

Bama’s been dominating for a decade and Clemson has been dominating since 2015. If I had to bet all of my assets on whether or not they’d both be in the playoffs again this year, I’d bet on it.

Yeah, that year Oregon and Stanford blew the doors off of USC was when that reign of terror ended.

Well they sure as shite tried

I’m also loving this decline talk. Predict it every year and eventually you’ll nail it.

Only Alabama fans can come off a 4 TD loss and delusion themselves into thinking they will walk through another season on their way to CFP. It helps it's often gifted to you (see 3 of your last 5 titles), but make no mistake... Alabama is trending down and it's glorious. 80s and early 2000s Alabama football is returning... Enjoy!

Replace both coordinators 3 offensive lineman poor depth at linebacker replacing Buggs and Williams and no longer have a mental edge as invincible.

Lose to 2/3

At tamu
LSU
At auburn

LSU is going to win the SEC. They have all the pieces in place to overcome Orgerons poor coaching.

Bama will drop 2 games.

I fricking hate LSU, but this is the year they get over the mental block of Bama. They blew a few opportunities to beat Bama under Miles.

Bama is really talented, just a flawed team that kinda got exposed by Clemson last year. Now that doesn’t mean there are more than 5-10 teams that can beat the Tide. LSU just happens to be a team that has the talent to do so.

How stupid...would you rather them just make some outlandish prediction that wont actually happen just so you feel better about it?

Why would I rebut? It's the best time of the year
