Refs were horrible on both sides, but that's not why Karnowski played poorly. He doesn't have the foot speed and elevation to play with top tier front line guys like Carolina's.
Collins is a different story; I could buy that the refs screwed him.

Not sure I ever remember a school getting so much help from refs throughout an entire tourney (particularly vs Arky, UK, and the Gonzaga).

That was a damned good game regardless - I only caught the last 9 minutes - but those back and forth leads were awesome. Most of those guys were playing lights-out. Congrats Tarheels.
ETA this is only the 4th basketball game I watched on TV this season so you can take that with a grain of salt!!
