The Big Ten can't do shite at this point. We step on the field and play on the scheduled day. No excuses. It's been a messed-up season already, quit dragging it out. I don't even know why this story made the news, because there are NO EXCUSES in football. The game is scheduled and it has to be played.
No one will respect our win if we don't play on THAT day!

So...the team from the conference that lead the charge to try to cancel the entire 2020 CFB season, which then played a much shorter schedule and had to have their own conference manipulate the rules to get them into the conference championship game (and the playoff) is now wanting an accommodation?

I have spent enough time in corporate America thst I know when Jeans Smith says the GOAL is to play January 11 - they ain’t playing January 11.
They will act like they are doing it up until they do not fly to Miami on Saturday night. I think it could be delayed to 1.25 or 2.1.
Nothing Bama or the CFP can or will do if Ohio State says “it’s just not safe” which is exactly what they did before the Illinois game - contact tracing will be the killer of the Monday game here - whereas Clemson under contact traces - Ohio State will way over contact trace... they will be down 6-7 starters in Defense and I can’t see the game being played on January 11th ....

This is from the same playbook used before the Illinois game - I will be shocked it the team boards the plane Saturday.... they will send out a statement Saturday saying it’s not safe for them or Bama... then it will be delayed till the 18th or 25th...
