Yeah, just don't expect someone at 41 going out suddenly by natural causes.

WTF? Illness?
People of all ages die everyday of many causes. Mosquitos have killed more people than elephants, it’s not always something big you expect to pass from. Again why it’s tragic.

Of course it's tragic. Illnesses are usually more drawn out.. although it sounds like he had been sick for a week at least.

Side effects from the steroid shot? I know someone who got a steroid shot for a sinus infection recently and has had tons of medical issues since.
Probably more likely he had sinus issues that turned into pneumonia and it went septic.

we'll find out more in due time i'm sure.
RIP to a helluva driver and prayers out to his family/friends

This is so sad and shocking. I was never a big fan of him, especially in his early years, but in later years I came to respect him as a driver. I can't imagine what Sunday will be like at the track.

Crazy!!!! Life is short. Enjoy it with the ones you love as much as possible. Never know when it will end. RIP Kyle.

He literally won a race in the truck series this past weekend at Dover and looked to be fine and you could see how happy he was. That is why this is kind of surreal to me. He was winning a race less than a week ago and then suddenly this.
He was 4 years younger than me. Tell your loved ones that you love them and give em a hug, you never know when it is your time.

I'm rarely shocked by generally-passive news (not a NASCAR fan by any means), but man this really got me. RIP

Agreed, pretty sure a few years back he tried and his camp said it was a hoax.

He was such a good driver and a big personality in a time when NASCAR really needed some new faces and a hero to love/villain to hate.
We went to Talladega in 2011 and someone had a sign that said “My Favorite Drivers Are Jr. And Whoever Wrecks Kyle Busch.”
RIP Legend

We have maybe 1-2 young healthy people die every year from basic pneumonia. shite happens.
Posted on 5/21/26 at 5:49 pm to Paul Allen
Man, just say what killed him. What a dumb move to nor release cause, knowing the high profile and the amount of press it will unnecessarily bring.
Posted on 5/21/26 at 5:49 pm to LSUBoo
First driver I ever took a liking to. He just won the truck race last week. It’s all so tragic.

Holy shite does this suck
Posted on 5/21/26 at 5:53 pm to Paul Allen
Holy shite. I wasn’t a fan but obviously never want that to happen.
