Don’t get people still having issues with this. Like a fireplace is such an untouchable aesthetic in the home. Some houses even have multiple fireplaces. Are they all off limits? To me it’s more of an obvious place for a TV than a place that should be empty or hanging a picture for something most people barely even use.

It’s not the aesthetic, it’s the tv being too high. Middle of the tv is supposed to be at eye level.

Mine is advice the fireplace. It’s on a mount that lets you pull it out down over the mantle and away from the wall to eye level
