Damn...McMahon is also a good submittal.

I should have thought of that.

Y.A. Tittle, mostly because NFL and everyone decided their history began with the Super Bowl

Dave Krieg and Carson Palmer.

Palmer quietly threw for 46,000 yards in his career.

I think Krieg was more of a compiler

DeBerg to me was better. DeBerg always got the team warmed up for somebody else and they thought it was his fault.

Tarkenton is actually a pretty good answer...if we are talking about under appreciated now. He got his accolades and such back in the day. The dude was amazing.
Tarkenton seems to be forgotten when it comes to the media discussing the great old QBs. I’m not old enough to know but I hear more people I actually know talking about how awesome Fran Tarkenton was than almost any other quarterback from the 70s or 80s.

A QB that always seemed good but won’t be a stat guy is Jim Everett. When he was on it was magical but when he floundered it was ugly.

Jeff George was a nut but damn that right arm was magical. Just a damn shame his attitude was that of a pet rock

Tarkenton is a good one.

Rivers another suggestion.

Took a look at Everett prior to the mention.

Then...the Jeff George mention made me look up another guy:

Don Majkowski

Funny, he is a HOF Packer, but wiki has him with more career INTs vs TDs. Gotta assume some of those INTs were not with GB.

Mentioned earlier, but I don't think a lot of people realize how good Dan Fouts was.

Eric Hipple is under appreciated not because of talent or record. But my gosh the beatings he took as that Lion team was god awful.

I don’t think Danny is ranked appropriately his biggest issue was following the team’s best QB

History will be kinder to him. Landry did him wrong in 84/85 with the Hoogeboom situation

Boomer Esiason. People forget how good of a QB he was. Played well in the Super Bowl but had the unfortunate luck of going up against Joe Montana.

Drew Bledsoe. It's almost like nobody remembers he took the Patriots to the Super Bowl in the 90s. Had some epic shootouts with Marino and Kelly.
