For me

1988 Kirk gibson home run
2002 Lakers vs kings game 4. horry hits game winning shot. i was at that game, freaking awesome experience.
raiders going to the super bowl in 03, though they got killed by the bucs, but still getting there was great
2000 lakers championship, first since 88

Man, there are a lot of these kind of threads today.

For me, the Rockets championships outweigh anything. Great memories from my childhood. They made me a sports fan.

Most notably from those championship runs:

-Sam Cassell game winning three in Game 3 of the '94 Finals.
-Olajuwon's closing seconds block of the Starks potential championship winning shot in Game 6.
-Vernon Maxwell's three in Game 7 that put the game away.

-Outlasting the Jazz in Game 5 of the '95 opening round series in Utah. They had the best record in the NBA that season.
-Mario Elie's game winning "kiss of death" three against the Suns in Game 7 in Phoenix. The Rockets trailed that series 3-1 after four games.
-Hakeem making Robinson his bitch in the '95 West Finals.
-Olajuwon game winning tip-in during OT in Game 1 in Orlando. It set up the sweep.

Other Rockets memories:

-Eddie Johnson's game winning three against Utah in Game 4 of the '97 West Finals. I was there.
-T-Mac's 13 points in 35 seconds.
-The opening quarters of Games 4 and 6 of last year's playoff series against the Lakers. The Rockets destroyed them.

Astros memories:

-Killing the Braves in Game 5 of the '04 Division series to finally win a playoff series. Beltran had two HRs.
-Beltran's HRs in Games 3 and 4 of the NLCS that tied and put the Astros on top.
-Jeff Kent's walk-off HR in Game 5 that sent the Astros to St. Louis up 3-2 (won all three at MMP).
-Ausmus game tying HR in the bottom of the 9th in Game 4 of the '05 NLDS against the Braves.
-Chris Burke walkoff, series winning HR in the 18th inning.
-Last out of 2005 NLCS - Oswalt's complete game series clincher.

Texans memories:

-Opening game win over the Cowboys.

Hey! that playoff game was very exciting
not too many people at Memorial thought we would come back except the players who played their offensive and defensive butts off in the 2nd half. I mean CHS was down by 21 FREAKIN POINTS in a football playoff game and won
