North Carolina, Florida State, Clemson, and Virginia are all negotiating to join the SEC. ESPN is trying to void their TV deal with the ACC.

Need more than an unsourced tweet from some dude at swimswam news for this to have any credibility.

Virginia market makes sense. Clemson and Florida State don't make sense. Already have their markets don't need them in SEC. North Carolina and Virgnia only ones that make sense of those 4. Sorry FSU/Clemson find someone else.

I'm not going off Braden @ swimswam news... but I do think those are the 4 teams the SEC would want.

The way we're running roughshod through the West every year, what's the difference?

I'd rather have Virginia Tech than Virginia.

Doesn't UVA have a heck of a swim team? SEC trying to dominate all sports.

This argument won't mean much in the future

If that’s true, holy shite. I thought for sure UNC and UVA would want in the Big 10.

Those are essentially the Crown Jewels of the ACC.

Eta
Does this also mean ND isn’t joining ACC and will most likely join BIG 10?

No way ND ever joins the ACC

I think the way to view all this is how a new division of college football will look and not at who joins what conference

Breaking news!

Florida State and Grambling have joined the SEC.

Pretty easy to post anything online.

Especially bullshite, phony, dregs of society Twitter.

If true, what's the end game? Is it just ESPN and Fox driving this?

Given this scenario, what's to prevent a break up by 2035? By both conferences that get too big. What makes Sankey think that Birmingham can control this?

Yeah a SOURCE that doesn’t understand what grant of rights means.

The SEC isn’t expanding further than Texas and Oklahoma. End of discussion. 16 is plenty.
