Doak Campbell should be rocking tonight but SMU will still pull off the victory.
SMU run defense was stout last year, we'll see if Ashton Daniels can keep florida state in the game

If anybody had any faith in Norvell it would be loud as hell. Even with capacity reduced Ty Simpson looked like he was ready shite his pants and that was a day game. Unfortunately we'll get the shite beat out us tonight because we have two of the worst playcallers on each side of the ball I've ever seen. I sincerely believe Norvell is on painkillers or something

Yeah but i might be more confident in florida state rushing yards under 173.5
SMU run defense was 14th in the nation's last year on yards per carry and gave up 112 yards per game.
Florida state ran for 217 yards week 0 against new Mexico state.
Miami had a pretty solid run offense last year and smu held them to 159 yards.
All that said, its week 1 and we haven't seen smu, so hard to be too confident in anything. 0 returning starting DL for SMU and only 4 returning on defense (2 LBs, 2 DBs)

I don’t love this line, but SMU should be more talented. Norvell is also basically a dead man walking. I’d be shocked if he’s there in 2027.

They kept co-dc from last year and LBs coach and secondary coach
