DET @ ORL 7pm series ORL 2-1
OKC @ PHO 8:30pm series OKC 3-0
MIN @ DEN 9:39pm series MIN 3-1

Note: No one was suspended from the Den/Min dustup. Some say if they had suspended any Min players they would have to do Jokic and didn’t want to. You decide because they suspended for much less this year. I think we’ll see a lot of fouls.

Let’s see how basketball used to look back when they didn’t take outside shots.

Jokic deserved to be suspended, but that's the NBA for you. He gets suspended in the regular season, though. It's ok, because they're gonna lose anyway. So many injuries, who knows?

What happened that was worthy of an actual suspension?

For those that remember the incident in 2007, where players were suspended... just leaving the bench warranted a suspension and also very crucial....

quote:

Following Robert Horry's hip check on Steve Nash in Game 4 of the 2007 Western Conference Semifinals, three players were suspended:

[Robert Horry] (Spurs): Suspended two games for the flagrant foul on Nash and for striking Raja Bell.

[Amar'e Stoudemire] (Suns): Suspended one game for leaving the immediate vicinity of the bench.

[Boris Diaw] (Suns): Suspended one game for leaving the immediate vicinity of the bench.

The suspensions of Stoudemire and Diaw for Game 5 were highly controversial and crucial, as they were key players for the Suns, who were tied 2-2 in the series at the time.

Fine but No suspensions.....

The amount of players that left each bench during this with time still on the clock...

IF the league wanted to abide by their rules correctly, they would come down on these... instead we 1 off the situation and only handle it when it can do this or that for a series? You hate to see this type of treatment.

Gobert and Randle finna bully Jokic in the paint and he’ll camp out at the top of the key once again. He’ll also be responsible for 40 pip given up

There’s a difference between what I think and what NBA has rules on. I don’t have a dog in this fight other than OKC had players suspended for less.

Jokic instigated the whole thing. Then players left bench area. Those are suspensions by rule.

By not suspending it proves conspiracy folks right. NBA is protecting playoff ratings vs regular season ratings. Reg season those were suspensions. Playoffs they weren’t.

If they suspend Jokic they lose viewers. Same with Minny players.

Ok, yeah I see that. But what I was talking about (poorly) was Jokic himself.

Here, watch Jokic. He instigated this whole thing.

If Houston doesn’t break a futility record in losing game 3, that series is tied.

Hoopology

Offensive & Defensive Rating in the playoffs.
- Interesting how close Rockets Lakers are considering being down 3-1
- Knicks Hawks being tied with such a big gap may be a good sign for NY fans?
- Phoenix and Philly...

Go OKC
Go Minn (love watching ANT.. looks like a mini MJ when he plays. sucks he hurt his knee)

Why does Banchero take so many threes? He needs to get downhill more.

I'll freely admit I thought Orlando and their shitty offense would get blasted in the playoffs, and that Charlotte would have been more fun to watch. But they've been kicking Detroit's arse for most of this series. This has been some physical basketball, and pretty well-officiated from what I've seen.
