Coolest part about this is seeing how funny Eli is, we never really saw his personality when he was a player, dude is hilarious

I like how he just kinda sits back and smirks until he has an opening for a slick burn. Most of them were hilarious and always unexpected.
He was really funny the one time he hosted SNL.

I posted earlier in this thread but Eli is obviously very intelligent, he just has resting retard face.
I wonder how much of that comes from “The League” when Ruxin called him a mouth breathing dummy when rosterbating?

Just dropping in to say this is the only thing that’s as good as Inside the NBA as far as sports tv goes.
I watch a lot of college football, but really don’t pay much attention to the NFL until after Thanksgiving. I’ve watched more MNF in two weeks than I have in 5 years. It’s great.

This won't last as I believe ABC will not let the Mannings out do the regular broadcast on ESPN.
They aren’t even in the same ballpark from a numbers standpoint, considering both shows are on ESPN I have a feeling ABC is just fine with how it’s going.

I’d be curious to see the numbers on what the Mannings have cannibalized from the regular MNF broadcast.

Week 1 was 5% of the total viewers watched Manning’s. Week 2 that went up to 10% of the total Viewers.

On a net basis it’s a win win for ESPN. I would guess this actually brings in incremental viewership to the program. People like those in this thread who wouldn’t watch MNF normally are now tuning in.

Meant to watch last night and forgot. Do they have the replay streaming?

I enjoy the Manning's broadcast if I'm only casually interested in the game. But if it's a game I'm really interested in, I'm watching the regular broadcast. Then maybe watching the Manning's as a replay.

They were at 1.9 million last week (800k week 1) and the standard game last week had 13.81 million
I can’t find this weeks numbers yet but I’d guess it might have a small increase

I can’t imagine watching MNF any other way going forward.

Because I don't want to miss what's going on in the game.

I'm the same way. Didn't watch the Manning's broadcast when GB played Det, but watched them the other 2 times. They are too distracting, in a good way. I get caught up with their conversation and end up barely paying attention to the game.
