No he didn't...they both had both hands on the ball. Even the guy they went to in the booth said it.

The difference in the Reid interception was he took it away before he ever even hit the ground. That's totally different.
This play the defender had possession and the receiver just covered up with him towards the ground, but it just wasn't like a simultaneous catch IMO.

They both had both hands on the ball the whole time. I agree it looks like Jennings had "possession," but I think they could get away with a "according to the letter of the law" kind of thing.
Either way, it's an embarassment for the league because nobody knows the rules or what's going on. And on top of that, the refs got the frick out of there. ESPN is gonna drown itself in jizz all day tomorrow.

Why wouldn't the Packers try to block it? Why wouldn't Seattle just kneel it?
Posted on 9/24/12 at 10:57 pm to MagicCityBlazer
Guess the ref had Seattle in survivor.

I would love to hear Hochuli explain this one.
It'd challenge Caesar's final soliloquy.

not surprising that the biggest scumbag in football Carroll is celebrating a false win.
What would you like him to do, exactly?

BC in the NFL it doesn't matter if you return a PAT.

Before the extra point was even kicked.

no, it was the same play, defender caught the ball in both cases and the receiver put one hand on it. only they got it wrong tonight.
oh well, at least the ref didn't throw his hat at the receiver this time.

yeah that pass interference is the worst part
Well, that and not batting it away.
Too bad you can't review an obvious penalty.

Not in the NFL. Best they could hope for is a 1 point safety.
Posted on 9/24/12 at 10:59 pm to WeBleedCrimson
That was so fricked up. Damn

I'm pretty sure the defense can't advance the ball on a two-point conversion in the NFL.

And two hands on the ball without bobbling it is possession. Dual possession, tie goes to the WR. Should've called PI though on Tate.
