this was randomly suggested to me just now. it's shockingly good production for an alleged league that literally plays games in a guy's front yard
They even had a draft in April

Is that field not tiny as frick for a wiffle ball field?

Big Cat had the kid who started the league on radio last week, Big Cat was wanting to buy the league from them.
I watched a video of it after that interview and it was incredibly entertaining and well made.

I'm glad they all stood for the national anthem.

I think they're just doing the best with what they've got.

The size of the playing field is optional, but we recommend a minimum dimension of 20 feet in width at the home run markers (approx. 8 paces) by about 60 feet long (approx. 23 paces) from home plate to each home run marker.
I don't think that would fit in a front yard

i guess that's getting them promoted on the algorithm b/c there is no other logical explanation for why they appeared on mine today

It was a pretty good interview. Seems like a good bunch of kids who started something fun and they’ve busted their arse to monetize. I’m going to look and see if the radio clip has been posted anywhere.
Big Cat and Rone teased about going out there and making a video and playing in a tournament.

I watched the Predators vs Eagles and Magic vs Mallards. Predators are my favorite team. That dude Austin fricks.

There was a dude who lived right across river in Granite City, and his pops owned a steel factory.
He built a decent sized fenway park, with a huge green monster for whiffle ball. They even produced aluminum whiffle ball bats. They were nice as hell, a great feel.
Still have the bat some where, but it was kind of cool, he would have tourneys, and had lights, scoreboard, and an announcers booth, and a chilling out room in straight away center, with tinted window, so you could pound the brewskis while waiting for your game.
None of that chicken wire shite like they have. Real walls, short fence in right. etc. Have to do a search and see what happened to them.

Would the aluminum bats not dent up the wiffle balls too much?

surprising enough, not that bad. Now, if guys were throwing BP, and hitting the shite out of the balls, you would see them wear quick, usually in the air seams. Normal games with a lot of k's, not a lot hard contact, and it could go several games.

Here is a little tidbit about him and the park:
Story from article, was 1993. Makes sense, feels like it was 92 or 93 when i bought the bat

Lakeside Park Major League Wiffleball Complex, constructed behind his father's business, took eight years to build. It features seating for 250 people, a VIP skybox, a Stadium Club made out of a trailer, manual scoreboard, lighting, and a public address system. The field measures 95 feet down the lines, 105 feet in the power alleys and 122 feet in center field.
Since one cannot hit a Wiffle Ball for distance into the wind, the field itself is reversible, with home plate and second base being interchangeable depending on the wind. From one direction, the batter faces a facsimile of Busch Stadium. From the other direction, the batter faces a replica of Fenway Park, complete with a high wall to simulate the Green Monster and the Citgo sign in the background.

That makes sense
I was never consistent enough of a pitcher with those things
We would normally just go with the racquet balls and aluminum bats which normally just turned into home run derby onto the neighbors roofs
