Gerritt Cole is on the bump tomorrow. If the Dodgers lose tomorrow night, it's gonna get tight. Me thinks this might go the distance.....If it wasn't for Freeman, this would be 2-2 at worst. Yanks stay alive with a dominating performance. Yankees and Dodgers have now scored the same number of runs in this series.

What?

It's the fricking World Series! You always go for the sweep if possible and don't even attempt to plan out what game you win it all.

You're one of those morons who always says " They scored too early" aren't you?

ETA: noticed you edited your original post claiming they are executing an elaborate plan to allow the series to go back to LA

Dodgers look like they have been beaten into submission. They better be able to shake this off or history will happen.

Dodgers have to only win 1 more game. Yankees would need 3. It’s over.

You should revisit the 2004 Red Sox

As a Yankees fan, you know full well a 3-0 deficit isn't an automatic loss

I don't care for the Yankees, but I kind of want to see them do something no one has ever done before.

If anybody is going to do it, it only seems fitting that it's the Yankees.

As much as I wanted the sweep just for dominance it would’ve been anticlimactic and that makes for a bad viewing experience. This makes for more fun for all of us.

Flaherty is much better at home than on the road so the Dodgers offense needs to show up tomorrow. I like that Volpe is getting to live his childhood dream. Good for him.

Judge with an RBI. You DO NOT want him to get hot. Throwing a game is never a good idea. Honeywell is hot garbage.

Get hot? He has 3 games tops left of the season. Let me know when he's hitting .200.

Yanks, have Cole pitching for Game 5, the Rodon for Game 6. The Yanks offense is awake now.

Losing tonight wasn't a big deal, but I'm worried these middling dodger relievers turned into slump busters for the entire Yankee lineup. That last hit by judge could be huge for the rest of the series.

I'm not sure why Roberts didn't just let knack pitch the 8th since he's a starter by trade and was only at 60 pitches. Keeping it relatively close likely forces boone to let weaver finish and burn him for game 5.

Is it awake or did we see some regression based on the pitching matchup and number of games played in the series? The Yankees lineup was going to do something at some point. Who the frick are Landon Knack and the other guy that started for LA tonight?

The Yankees weren't likely to be swept. But they also aren't likely to win 3 in a row over a Dodgers team now perfectly willing to deploy their high leverage arms at any and every opportunity. The Dodgers lineup is still better than the Yankees. Judge and a few others need to go thermonuclear and they need guys like Luke Weaver to keep channeling that Mo Rivera energy. I dunno.
