The angels may be done if this is anything serious

Jeff Fletcher ? Verified account @JeffFletcherOCR Follow Follow @JeffFletcherOCR More The Angels cut the lead to 2-1 in the 3rd on an RBI by ... Mike Trout. But now Garrett Richards is out of the game after 2 innings. His velocity had been down about 2 mph. Will update when we have more info.

Angels are done already....

Even with Richards out, that just hurts his trade value...

6.5 out of the division and 6 out of the Wild Card

The Ms probably have banked enough wins to be safe but I still not a full believer that they don’t have a bad stretch of baseball in them

As certain as the sunset, a Garrett Richards injury.

Hate that he's always banged up, he's fun to watch when he's on

Colin Moran almost cost his team the game, D-Backs scored two to turn it into a one-run game

Hell of a start by the young man. I’m guessing they’re being careful with him, as he only had 74 pitches when they pulled him

Sonny Gray just picked off Soto to end the 1st and Turner to end the 2nd. Pretty cool.

Discussion going on right now on ESPN about Harper possibly being overrated. Thoughts?

I don't know where to stand on this because I love watching Harper play, however, he has a season of 10 WAR, 5.2 WAR, 4.7 WAR and then seasons of 1.1, 1.5, 3.7, and currently 1.0.

Can you say he is overrated in the fact he is about to get 300+ million? Sure, but he is still a talented young player who I expect to get a bit better.

I agree with this. He plays the game with a fire which is cool to see.

Without sounding like I’m making excuses, he’s been extremely unlucky this season with a .216 BABIP. His career BABIP is .316, and his previous low was .264. So, he’s about 50 points lower than his previous low. You’re right, it will get better. He’s still near top 10 in OPS & 1st in HR & BB in the NL.

Harper is still easily a top ten player in baseball but he isn’t the 2nd best behind Trout like everyone thought he was. He had an amazing 2015 but I think he is more of a 4 to 5 war player than a superstar. His defense has been terrible this year and is something to watch going forward.
