Reds are keeping Bauer, not flipping him. If they do make playoffs, they have great front 3 with also Castillo and Gray. Roark and Wood could still go in trade.

That was a great trade for the rest of the AL.

Stroman was supposed to be a Yankee, he is a Met
Bauer was going to be a Stro or Yankee, he is a Red

I don't trust that

The #Mariners are telling teams they will eat large amount of Mike Leake's remaining salary to facilitate a trade. He's earning $16 million this year, $15M in 2020, and has an $18M option or $5M buyout in 2021. The #STLCards are paying $5M of his contract this year, and $4M next.

Mets have better odds to make the WC than the Giants

I’ll credit AA for trusting a solid batting lineup to develop after the Donaldson move during the offseason but we had pitching issues dating back to Spring training and the bullpen had clearly been playing over it ahead in June and through the All Star break. Keuchel was an obvious and necessary addition but it’s clear we need more. If Martin is all he can manage to add to a team otherwise primed to contend then my enthusiasm for what could be is going to wain pretty significantly down the stretch. If Jackson is still brought in to close out games after tripping over his dick yet again last night, I’m out

I do not understand the staff’s obsession with making LJ the closer.

i half hope the dodgers give everyone the finger and just role with what they have. understanding the bullpen now will look different once maeda and urias take on larger day to day roles. and understanding the team is literally 70-39 right now and can win a world series as is

and frankly, gonsolin has been very interesting in his two stints. dont get too worked up over his first start. his statcast numbers are pretty awesome. he will most likely get his shot in september to see if he really belongs but right now, his two appearances have been really encouraging, imo
