Not sure what the Astros are looking for as far as prospects, but I doubt the Braves have whatever it is.

frick that. Jump back out. Last time we traded with them, Frank Wren trade raped his garbage on us. Plus their farm is the least appealing to me. Alex Wood is about the only guy I like from them.

The #Braves have not changed their stance on Bud Norris. They have never targeted him as an option for their rotation.

Welp.

Make the team bad so JD can fire Wash? He wanted to back when the cocaine story broke but Nolan stopped it.

Now that Nolan is a figurehead and JD has the power, first rule of the new regime is to fire everyone loyal to the old regime.

Yea, saw Cubs pulled him off the block apparently as well

quote:

The Cubs were rumored to be shopping Jeff Samardzija, but Jon Heyman reports that they’ve given up on that and will now try to lock him up this offseason or trade him then. It was worth looking around to see if the team could get some useful prospects for him, but that’s not really developing at the moment.

I'm sure the cubs asked for their first born in response and that ended those talks.

I think the quote yesterday was the cubs asking price is 'as high as the sears tower'
