I know the AL west is open, but do the Mariners have the team this year to go all in on in spite of the future?

Pitching is World Series caliber, hitting obviously is not…..but this pitching staff only has a few years to be together, front office has to figure out how to maximize them.

The Chicago Cubs acquired right-handed reliever Nate Pearson from the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday in return for a pair of prospects -- infielder Josh Rivera and outfielder Yohendrick Pinango.

The 2017 first-round pick joins a Cubs team in flux as his addition more than likely means the team is preparing to trade some of its own relievers. Mark Leiter Jr., Tyson Miller and Hector Neris could be on the move as the team retools for 2025. Both the Cubs and Blue Jays have had underachieving seasons, giving both front offices reasons to think about the future.

He is better defensively at second and base but Torres is a better offensive player. Heyman or Curry mentioned in their tweet the Yankees believe he can play third base as well.

Just AJ Preller fricking up the trade market by giving up 3 prospects including a top 50 prospect for a 33 year old setup man.

Lesko has gotten wrecked. Despite what writers lists may say I’m guessing nobody still values him as a top 50 prospect

Padres jacked up the market, Phillies gave up a decent amount as well for Estevez. Fairbanks, Finnegan and Scott will cost teams a decent haul.
