Those two for Travis Demerritte? Wow
I'm fine with that Ti'Quan Forbes is the chosen one anyways.
Have fun with this POS Atlanta.

Wow
Texas GM went with Low hanging fruit. He talk to Mo? That's his shtick.
I would hope Texas didn't give up much? a C prospect, cash, and PTBNL?

Only Demeritte and he's already been banned for using PED's before (2015).
Kid raked in High-A, but that isn't exactly hard to do for those in the minors.
This is also not going to be the end of the dealing according to every big Texas guy on Twitter.

Wow
Probably the only person who will react this way to Lucas Harrell being traded

Mo Vaughn?

Yeah they didn't give up much

Lol our No. 20 overall prospect
He was never going to play with us anyways, SS and 3B are likely filled for the next decade (unless trades occur)

I mean Harrell isn't good but as someone to eat some late season innings the rest of the year it's fine which is what y'all need. The prices for the guys like Matt Moore and Odorizzi must be high
I thought Hellickson could have been helpful to Texas at a somewhat reasonable cost.

No, Mozeliak from Cardinals
He is the King of low hanging fruit(players).

Harrell has pitched pretty damn well for us this year

Harrell and Alvarez have both been pretty solid for us this past month. We got them for nothing and got a decent prospect back in the process.

It's worked out great for Atlanta but he isn't good.

Judging by those names I'd assume Atlanta isn't expecting much back aside from a new washing machine.
The funny thing is....I think that brings up a good analogy.
The Braves traded a pair of cheap electric hedge trimmers and plastic rake for a washing machine that isn't working.....it may need a $2
Part or it may be a complete piece of junk.

I'd move Shields just to get out of the contract. His peripherals are still bad and he's aging.
It was a really bad trade for the Chisox on multiple levels; gave up basically what Toronto sent for Upton (who was having a good year) and took a lot more salary.

@Haudricourt
Will this be Jonathan Lucroy’s last day with #Brewers? I hear talks ratcheted up with more than one team in last 24 hours. One call away.

That seems like a Dodgers kind of thing to do.

agree on all of that. I'd dump him to whoever if Im the CWS. If Im the getter, I'd take precautions. Still worth a look in the AL, luck or not
