Nah, I have high hopes on Judge becoming a star... McKinney has hit at every level and still relatively young, and Fowler has been good as well... They may turn into 1 star and just two solid contributors, I would be alright with that.

Fangraphs article is some things to consider. He has things he absolutely has to improve in his offensive game. That being said, I'll take a chance on a 23 year old left-handed slugger that has his tools at the plate.

lol
that doesn't warrant a dancing banana

And paying Ellsbury how much a season?

Young players with potential doesn't warrant that? Plus Harper would be in play in 2 years

I'm guilty of saying the same thing, SB. I know nothing about defensive metrics other than to look at schwarbers frame and say "frick, I could track down a fly ball faster than that big mofo" lol. I would love nothing more than for Schwarber to plant himself in LF for the next 10-12 years

Yes because he'll be a dodger

Playing for the Yanks lost a lot of luster when George died & Jeter and Rivera retired. All of their momentum from the 90's has been reset: and for some reason people think they are still the only team that pays big money,
I'm pretty comfortable in betting the field in the Harper sweep stakes. More than likely stays in Washingtoj

McKinney
McKinney's hasn't developed like he was supposed to. High BA & OBP with a little pop was his early scouting reports, but any power he had has been squashed once he got out of single A. 1 HR so far this year in AA after 7 combined HRs in 2015 (of those 7, only 3 in 270+ ABs after being called up to AA last year). Currently only hitting .250ish with a .650 OPS in AA. Was once a top 50ish overall prospect and now isn't ranked in anyone's top 100. His stock has really plummeted.

Last year, Schwarber made contact on just 67% of his swings, and perhaps more importantly, only 75% of his swings on pitches in the strike zone. Dating back to 2008, there have been 620 player-seasons in which an age-25-or-younger hitter has come to the plate at least 250 times. Of those 620 player-seasons, Schwarber’s 2015 in-zone contact rate ranked 614th
How many of those players had about 1 year of pro ball under their belt & shot up through the minors like 87 year olds dick on viagra?
Sorry bout the visual

Yea McKinney's ceiling might be Nick Markakis. Might be. His stock is def down but he has flashed.

Just to make the Yankee boys in here drool.
Schwarber in Yankee stadium would make u think Jason Giambi found the fountain of youth

Definitely. Only 21 in AA and still has a .350 OBP despite the low BA. Change of scenery could help too. It isn't a bad throw in for a trade. At worst he still probably becomes a 4th OF.
