That's a hell of a trade for the Dodgers. Friedman, Zaidi and the Dodger's financial resources are a scary combo.

Kershaw, Greinke, Wood, Latos, Anderson has to be the best rotation in the game now, huh?

Easily. Kinda being overlooked that latos has a sub 3 era since coming off the DL a couple of months ago. I think that is over 8 starts.

Edit: thats now their #4 starter

Other clubs say #Cubs aggressively trying to include Starlin Castro in any deal. It was interesting that Addison Russell played SS yesterday

Now I believe I have caught up, what a day of trading I've missed. I don't feel as confident for the Yankees with Jays grabbing Price.

Now if only Puig and Joc could begin to produce consistently at the plate, they could be an actual threat.

Will they get past the Cardinals in the playoffs? I'll believe it when I see it.

Yankees asked the Mariners about Dustin Ackley, but Seattle GM didn't want the 2 players the Yankees offered for a guy hitting .215/.271/.366

For those curious post-Papelbon trade, Storen the last two days in the 8th:

0 H 8S, 1B, 2K
0 H, 10S, 1B, 2K

Dude looks filthy. This might just work out.

Won't matter, Cardinals are going 1 and done with this offense and Mo's brilliant, dumpster diving.

Moss is garbage

What a shite trade, u give up your #3 prospect, for a guy who could of been had on the cheap, with a waiver wire deal. And a guy who's regressing big time.

Since June 1st, Moss is hitting .187 LOL

Don't forget keeping Rollins's bat in the lineup too. It's Seager time.

I thought for Kamnisky they could have gotten a player of better value. A Jay Bruce type at least, Moss has been horrible this year. He has power as evident by his 15 home runs but has no other redeeming qualities.

I agree. Moss isn't very good right now. He hasn't been the same since hip surgery.

huh? I've seen Pineda scratched but nothing on him going on the DL, Nova I have not seen anything on as his arm is fine.

What's better, isn't the GM also the manager on the field now? That situation is a mess.

below average defender, not a good offensive guy outside of power... doesn't fit typical Cardinals player
