The Texas Rangers agreed to a trade Wednesday night with the Philadelphia Phillies for left-handed ace Cole Hamels, sources told ESPN.
The Rangers also get left-handed reliever Jake Diekman in the trade for a group of five prospects.
Top catching prospect Jorge Alfaro, left-hander Matt Harrison, outfielder Nick Williams and minor league right-handers Alec Asher and Jake Thompson will be shipped to the Phillies, sources said.

If the Rangers rotation can just stay healthy it can be good.
Darvish is a #1 guy if he comes back from surgery OK.
Hamels will be a good #2
Holland if he can stay healthy can be a good #2 or #3.
Perez showed a lot of promise in 2013. I do worry if he will be able to come back from surgery though.
Lewis is a servicable #5.
Then you have Chi Chi and Martinez who have showed potential.
But if healthy, Darvish/Hamels/Holland is a good Top 3.
