I don't mind this as a minor league rule. It's absolutely stupid for a major league rule.

Pretty sure everyone involved in minor league baseball absolutely hated it as well. There are better ways to speed up a game

This is something that needs addressing at every level of the minor leagues until it starts to fix itself at the MLB level.
I mean, it really needs to be addressed at the college, HS and little league level as well. Guys need to stay in fricking batters box between pitches. Too many guys think they're Nomar Garciaparra and have to adjust every facet of their uniform before every pitch.

- Cut down on warm up pitches
- Cut down on amount of times a player can ask for time in batters box
- Speed up pitchers between pitches
- cut back time of mound visits

You aren’t even really speeding it up, you’re artificially shortening it with some gimmicky rule. If the issue is “pace” this doesn’t really solve that on it’s own.
Some of the other stuff that makes innings 1-9 move faster I am fine with but this is awful
