Angels are free falling. Time to trade Ohtani.

They should blow it all up. Trade all of them.

Too late. At this point they might as well hold onto him and throw everything they can into the resign basket

Shohei is the only reason anyone comes to watch the Angels with Trout taking his seasonal vacation.

They can always trade him and still sign him back.

Unless they think they can get him to extend before testing out the waters, but that's not likely at all.

Braves only one run behind Texas for best run differential in MLB.

Letting him spend half a season in a contender's clubhouse is probably not the best strategy if they are going to try to re-sign him.

They aren't going to sign him back either way.

They should have traded him last summer or winter

Doubt they get anything close to value out of anyone now which will make him pf all people reeeaaalllly hard to trade

Doubt moreno wants to be the owner who traded him for pennies on the dollar and doubt Minasian wants to be the exec that does that as well

He fits every team in baseball. They would get a ton for him as far as deadline rentals go, way more than the comp pick value. The Cubs got borderline top 100 guys for Kris Bryant and Javy Baez. They should absolutely trade him if they’re out of it and certain he isn’t resigning but they won’t because they’re stupid

Braves brewers dodgers

Boring I know

Eta I feel like Texas is going to make some big additions at the deadline. I know McCaig mentioned Scherzer

Hoping guards beat twins out reds beat brewers out and orioles can beat rays out.

But yours is probably the most likely scenario

Yeah I’m def pulling for Reds but IIRC Brewers should be getting Woodruff back relatively soon and that’s big

Brewers also haven’t been playing bad lately and the reds might be done with their little hot streak :(
