If the Dodgers make it 3 in a row the tears in here would enough to fill Lake Mead up to capacity.

It also will factor into the impending lockout. The owners are arguing that a salary cap is needed. The players are absolutely refusing to agree to one. If LA wins a 3rd straight fans outside of LA will use that to side more with the owners. Conversely, if Cleveland, Tampa or the White Sox win the WS, the fans may side more with the players arguing that a salary cap doesn't prevent small payroll team from winning

Having Giancarlo back for the wild card series would be big, but the Yankees should be able to take care of business without him having Type Schlitt and Fried Bird going games 1 and 2. After that, the Rays will be trembling knowing that THAT MAN is waiting in the wings…

Jerry looking forward to Dodgers/Yankees part 2 this year. Will be a great treat for all baseball fans everywhere just like it was in the 40s, 50s, and 70s
