Greinke stays with Royals. If he hits 250 wins is he in the HOF?

Cards and White Sox are talking about a deal involving Lucas Giolito.

Wouldn’t mind.

I remember when he first pitched for the Royals thinking he'd never be any good. He's quietly put together a helluva career.

One of the best at fielding his position.

Definitely a pitcher that is an athlete.

Jim Bowden overhauled the leagues with the addition of a Charlotte and Nashville franchise in a much more regional format

Eastern East might be the most toxic creation imaginable

I hate the idea of getting rid of the AL and NL. Expansion would be a good chance to better align divisions geographically though. And by that I mean get the Astros and Rangers out of the West.

If Nashville and Charlotte are the two expansion teams, then the new ALW should be Oakland/Vegas, Anaheim, Seattle, Colorado/Arizona* and the NLW is easily the remaining 4 current NLW teams.

If Portland is added then they take Colorado/Arizona's spot in the ALW. Colorado can be with St. Louis, Chicago, and Milwaukee in the NLC.

*Yeah, Colorado or Arizona would have to change leagues to have 4/4 in the Mountain/Pacific times.

Meanwhile the Mid-Atlantic would have a collective payroll of $47.

You can't get rid of the American and National League. There is too much history in those names. The National League has been here since 1876, the same year as Custer's Last Stand!

The national league is the oldest sports league in the world

Anyone who seriously suggests that it should go away has to think to breathe
