Verlander and Alcantara are your Cy Young winners.

I’m not sure about that, probably not. All I know is that Sherman isn’t going to put a competitive product on the field so there is no way that KC is going to vote yes on the new stadium for a perennial 100 loss team.

MLB looking into Mets and Yankees for collusion regarding Aaron Judge.
quote:

As part of that piece, Martino wrote: “Talking to Mets people about this all through the year, the team in Queens sees Judge as a Yankee, uniquely tailored to be an icon in their uniform, stadium and branding efforts. Owners Steve Cohen and Hal Steinbrenner enjoy a mutually respectful relationship, and do not expect to upend that with a high-profile bidding war. The only way people involved can see the Mets changing course and pursuing Judge would be if the Yankees somehow declared themselves totally out of the bidding.”

Tom Rickettes is not cheap. He is smart. He has spent hundreds of millions on Wrigley field and properties around it. Wrigley was a dump until he took over as owner.
Wished he would have dumped Hoyer and got fresh start.
I am a Cub fan of 60 years.

For you Base Baws, AppleTV+ (got it free with my cell plan ) has a bunch of classic MLB games organized by season. These are mostly walk-offs and no hitters.

Some seasons have more games than others. It's been fun to watch during the offseason.

MLB Great Games on AppleTV+

eta: No commercials. It's been fun to watch some of the big name players of today earlier in their careers.

If it makes the team more competitive and doesn't increase taxes, it will likely pass. The Royals want to copy what the Cardinals executed perfectly with their Ballpark Village entertainment complex. Which is another revenue stream.

Good move? Or bad move?

Aaron Judge's record-setting 62nd home run ball is headed to auction later this month, with the attorney for the Texas man who caught it telling ESPN he already turned down a $3 million offer for the prize snagged Oct. 4 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

The best player in the League wins the AL MVP, and rightfully so with a GOAT season.

That was awesome having Pujols tell Goldy he's MVP while Nolan is also still on camera celebrating for him.

Only thing more impressive was his .100 BA in the playoffs again.

Of course his attorney most likely persuaded him to turn down 3 million. I would have taken that offer were it to be true. Why do you need an attorney the sell an authenticated ball?
