In his prime, maybe. I’d be surprised if 37 year old Yuli would have the range required to play an average shortstop though.

37 year old Yuli has better range than Gold Glove winning Jeter.

Laughably inferior was probably a bit strong for the defensive part, but Trea Turner and Brandon Crawford are better/more valuable defenders than Riley.

I’m saying 2B isn’t that much more valuable than 3B now, if at all. Especially given the shift where you have 3 fielders to the right side with any lefty at the plate.
