Seeing JP Crawford turn himself around has to hurt the Phillies. France has looked great since they got him from the Padres.

Kelenic gets it together next year with a healthy with Trammel, Lewis, and Haniger the OF will be solid.

NYY and Boston win and they’re in

Eitjer one of them lose + Toronto and/or Seattle win then all hell breaks loose

Pure mayhem would be NYY and Boston both losing with the other 2 winning

That Washington/Boston pitching matchup is not ideal for team chaos

Also keep in mind there’s still a potential game 163 for the NL West title. Dodgers only 1 game back

A historic matchup. Kudos to the Nats for breaking the glass ceiling in baseball.

Each team would choose or receive an A, B, C or D designation. The club with the highest winning percentage in games among the tied clubs chooses first, second-highest chooses second, etc. In this scenario, the Red Sox (24-21 against the others) get first choice, the Blue Jays (22-22) choose second, the Yankees (22-23) choose third and the Mariners (9-11) get the leftover spot.

On Monday, Club A (likely the Red Sox) would host Club B, and Club C (likely the Blue Jays) would host Club D. So for the Yankees, it would come down to a choice of traveling to either Boston or Toronto.

The winners of those two games on Monday would face each other Tuesday in the AL Wild Card Game.

I was just reading tiebreaker scenarios on the MLB app. Holy shite!

We could have a four way tie and then each team would get a A, B, C or D designation based on records against one another. Boston would have the best record and thus get the A designation. The winner of each game would be the 2 WC's.

Then if we have a 3 way tie w/NY, BOS, and SEA, we would have a A, B, & C designation. The Sox again would get the A designation and play one of the other 2 remaining teams. The loser of that game would then play the 3rd team in a 164th regular season game for the 2nd WC and the WC game would be pushed back a couple extra days.

Chaos! I want chaos.

This is more interesting to me than the 4 way tie. One team will have 2 game shot to make the wild card

If we get at least a 3 way tie, it would be the first time in the history of the sport it has ever happened. Pretty incredible when you think of it
