I think he'd win an appeal.

I don't see how they can invoke this rule for him for such a harsh penalty while giving everyone else the standard first offense penalty.

Of course I say this without knowing the evidence on any of these guys lol.

All they really have to do is ban him for the remainder of this season and all of next season. Is he really going to come back at the age of 40 after not playing for two years?

Is A-Rod the only one who tried to bribe his way out of the penalty? (by trying to buy the evidence from the guy who had it)

That would be a separate offense

There's been speculation but I haven't seen anything come out that says MLB will ban him for life.

Maybe you can post that link where that story has already broke.

yeah, and he only needs 13 more homers if that 6 million bonus for tying Mays was really written into the contract
