LeBron is better. Going to finish number 1 in points, top 3 in assists, top 10 in steals and will also grab over 10,000 rebounds. He’ll win the next 2 titles and probably will win another by 40. Case closed.

Please stop. He also had one of the greatest college careers of all time and last time I checked they were more than 8-12 teams that played in CBB back then. Of course if guys like Russell would have been born in 1995 who knows how big and fast he would have been? He still would have been insanely intelligent on and off the court with a winning mindset that few have possessed before or since. I am 52 and nobody was 300 pounds growing up, now high school teams have entire offensive lines that big. You must love Cowherd and Le Batard who constantly droll on about how nobody back then could play now not taking into account how different those very athletes would be if they were born now.

Tbird is right that all player fans are frustrating. I personally know way more shameless Lebron groupies than Jordan cultists, so maybe that’s where my opinion is based.

Early in Russell’s career the league had 8 teams. 6 of them would make the playoffs. 2 would have a 1st round byes. So the champion would only have to beat only two teams. That’s a lot easier than today. I don’t recall saying Russell can’t play today’s game so I don’t know why you brought up Cowherd and whatever the other guy. Don’t be so emotional in your response that you have to bring up my tv viewing habits to make a point. I don’t even have cable.
