Slippery floor. Kentucky and Penn State finished. I would be PISSED. Imagine driving from BFE Nebraska to see half a set.

Playing sports in places they shouldn’t be played is a terrible idea. I remember when they had to cancel that basketball game that was supposed to be played on a ship.

How did the first matchup get played without any problem? All that traveled will probably get a refund for the canceled matchup. But nothing for all the travel expenses to get there.

They played a football game at Wrigley and only used one end zone. Every drive faced the same way.

I think it is a decent take. And I can see the novelty of the NHL outdoor games and such.

But a volleyball match at Wrigley Field is stupid because of where Wrigley is located and whoever put this on got what they were asking for.

Wrigley is right by the damned lake. There is always wind. The air can be damp, especially as it gets later in the day. Just dumb planning all around

They kept wiping the floor down at the end of our game, I was wondering how the second game would be played.

It was earlier in the day. Later in the evening, as the air temperature cooled, the moisture collected on the court.

Was there any issues with the court a few years ago when Nebraska's football stadium hosted a volleyball event?

The sun was still out. It started getting slick in our 4th set when the sun went down. There were a few times they had to wipe the floor. I’m not surprised they ended up having to call the next match.

IMO a heated court would’ve potentially solved the issue and prevented the court from rapidly losing heat/developing condensation. Or playing the games earlier in the day.

Heated flooring solves the issue right?

I’m not saying 100degrees but heat it just approve the dew point and you avoid condensation

Seeing the Tar Heels on a carrier was awesome.
