I'm sure there are some clauses in there that limits Synder's meddling or he wouldn't have agreed.
The Skins will be immediate East contenders IMO. They're not lacking in talent. Best hire they could've made.

Meh, not frightened in the least. Of the 5 coaches Snyder has put in place as HC for the Redskins, not a single one of them has a winning record.
Add that to Shanahan's .500 record his last 3 years in the league and his 1-4 Playoff record with Elway and yawn.

After Elway retired, Shanahan coached 10 more seasons in Denver.
In those 10 years, he only made the playoffs 4 times
In those 10 years, he won exactly 1 playoff game
His last 3 years in Denver, he was 24-24
Like I said, he hasn't done shite without Elway as his QB

Hasn't won a SB... but has won a ton of playoff games and been close a few times. He's a solid coach, who brings good run game and defense to a team that has been putrid for the past 6 years. If he gets the right talent at QB at least we will be relevant again.
