I can see that. Not exactly on purpose, but a subconscious bias. Same reason they tend to call more fouls on the team that hasn't fouled as much.

If you have Msu only in your final four, you pick up points by having them lose. I have Michigan state losing in the elite 8 and I gain on EVERY PERSON in my 20+ man pool if they lose before Houston

Have MSU winning it all in one and losing in the Elite 8 in the other. This doesn't bode well for either bracket
