Why are teams so scared to go out and win the game with their offense? Michigan could not stop Va Tech when they were in shotgun and passing or running qb draws. So Va Tech goes out and runs fullback read plays and gives Michigan a chance.

This. Their kicking has been shaky at best too.

and like I said, agree with me or not, but VA Tech just like Stanford last night deserves to lose. they had plenty of time to put the ball into the end zone near the end of regulation, but chose to play way too conservatively and only wanted a field goal. now karma just bit them in the arse. you gotta play to WIN in games like this.

The fricking rulebook says must have irrefutable evidence...IMO there was nothing about the replay that said not a catch.

The refs have completely ignored this rule for about the past three years it seems. Now, I am biased for Michigan because I bet on them, but there was no irrefutable evidence there.

well there are 32 NFL kickers and almost all of them stay in the league 10 years...so you're talking about 300 teams x 10 years is a shitton of kickers to choose from
