This is something I think will make a difference in the game. Our players will be relatively loose while Saban will have his team tight as hell.
You can't gameplan against that mindset.

this team is no good. well, maybe not exactly no good. but this team is nowhere near national title caliber.
Hoke took that Michigan team to 11-2 with smoke and mirrors. The Michigan defense drastically improved from last season and the offense is pretty good at protecting the ball. I've been singing Hoke's praises since he was at SDSU and I believe he'll handle Urban Meyer in the Big 10.

i'm not arguing that they're terrible. 11 wins is 11 wins, but the divide between the teams that played tonight and the teams that will play Monday is huge. Does anyone think this team could have hung w/ Boise or TCU either?

I totally agree with you. Boise would blow out anyone except Bama and LSU. Damn shame Boise wasn't in a BCS game.

And the rest of the SEC. Heck, UGA would beat them now.

Boise would be a great bet to blow UM out of the water.
Also, that was a catch.

I pushed so I'm happy. Lower bowl tickets 119 for 20 bucks had a good time but the crowd was so weak. Wasn't impressed in the slightest by either team
Mich can't tackle for shite

It was fun, but we as lsu fans with money on.Michigan were louder than Michigan fans. We got tickets today in the lower bowl for 20 dollars. It was kind of sad but definitely worth 20 bucks. There were probably as many lsu fans as vt fans.

Little mistake there!
Edit:
Never mind the period threw me off haha

Old VT fan called us F'in punks outside the stadium because we were chanting LSU

I went...with my LSU gear on! It was fun.
VA Tech was by far the better team...Michigan just got lucky!
I had a great time not pulling for anyone
The picture was taken with my Camera phone

Yea on my fire so I didn't bother editing. The Michigan fans loved us but the tech fans outside the stadium hated us
There was so much bemused head shaking, like they knew they weren't on the same level of fandom, or football, as the sec

I agree 100%. Hoke is the real deal, and Michigan's BCS bowl win is sending a message to recruits. Big Blue is back.

If Boise State played Michigan last night, would they have beaten UM?
Posted on 1/4/12 at 8:12 am to Muahahaha
This year's Boise may have been close. Last year's Boise would have killed Michigan IMO.
Posted on 1/4/12 at 10:16 am to Bunk Moreland
Boise probably would have beaten Michigan based solely on talent. Boise has a very, very good team. BCS worthy, if not for their schedule.
Boise doesn't have the infrastructure to build and sustain a huge program like Michigan though, and Brady Hoke is the guy to keep them at the BCS Bowl level, and maybe even take them one notch higher. He's that good.
