Michael Wilbon never shies away from a chance to degrade a white boy

"Some little dude named T.J. is looking at his hand like he's Shaq," Wilbon said. "Here's what's going to happen to T.J. in the next game. Terry Rozier is going to roll over him like a truck and he's not going to do anything."
Does Wilbon show any praise whatsoever for McConnell's performance? Nope. Im sure he believes the Celtics were great in the 80's because the Chief and Dennis Johnson had to take a backseat to Bird so the white boy can get the credit too.
So insufferable POS.

You're really taking this hard

I'm a huge TJ McConnell fan, but Wilbon is an opinion guy and this is his opinion. He's entitled to it.
I do think it's funny he talks about Terry Rozier like he's some unstoppable force of nature.

That's not entirely sure. He always goes out of his way to defend the likes of Big Ben, Steve Kerr & Nick Saban.
Also, let's be real. Boston will likely abuse Philly tonight.

I'm sorry, I missed the part where this was about him being white.
To be fair, I've heart Wilbon say things like this many times, and most if not all were in reference to blacks.
Actually, I remember him saying the same thing about guys who use to try and annoy and guard Bird... He said Bird would go out and roll them and destroy them.

I think he is a lousy sports commentator and heard his schick enough to know he is a POS.
I didnt watch the clip but read three articles about what was said.
Instead of acknowledging the fact McConnell came off the bench in Game 2 and played had a better +/- than Simmons while outplaying Rozier also, he acts like ye is some scrub.
If Philly allows him to continue playing a bigger role they may win the series. Wilbon is a POS.

Come on. I've rooted hard for TJ since he first set foot on the floor for the U of A, but it isn't some crazy opinion that Rozier might bounce back and get the better of him.
Rozier has played well this playoffs. It isn't a slight to TJ to express an opinion that he might play well tonight. It isn't a crazy take, like saying that maybe the Cavs will start Cedi Osman instead of LeBron James. It's just his opinion, and it's not a big deal.

This is true. I don't always agree with Wilbon, but I don't think his opinions are racially motivated.

lol, you watch non-game content on ESPN

Watch SC in the morning while eating your Cheerios and then at night, watch TNT tonight. You have no business watching ESPN mid afternoon.

This is certainly a peculiar melt
