Its the media going on and on about this that's so annoying. He's a 7th round draft pick, not a #1 overall.

No, but the openly racist people of the 50's and 60's who fought so hard on segregation issues are similar to the people who are anti-gay today

Yes, without the media, this wouldn't have been reported as news, thus posted thus debated thus defended thus you just made me add another post about this gay dude.

Nope, just new to there being a big deal made about a player that might not even make the team. I'm guessing every player gets a number, regardless if they're going to be on the final roster. I guess they should make as much money off of him while they can, bc he might not be around for more than a few weeks/months.

We have had Fox News and CNN on all day, and in my 5 hours and 47 minutes at work. It has received about 8 minutes total..... All day.

And has more reason to outwork every player in the NFL just because of his position.

Yet he didn't. Did you see his Combine numbers? Did you see him during the Senior Bowl?

He will be on the roster, book it.

I do agree with this but it will have nothing to do with his playing ability.

And yet ESPN had a 15 minute discussion segment dedicated to just talking about him. I don't see them discussing 5th, 6th, or other 7th round picks with nearly this much air time. Move on to discussing something more relevant about players taken in the draft and their impact to other teams please.

I nominate Brandon Cooks for the next ESPN discussion.
