I watched the game Sunday in Berlin. Penix has a noodle arm and a bad O line. That's a bad combination.

Yep, Falcons only have 1 WR worth a shite anyways. Bijan probably the 2nd best receiver on the team.

Probably not a good idea to air this publicly.

Normally I would agree, but this is an exception.

It's been clear from the jump that the coaches are failing him and he's not getting coached properly And if this hastens Morris's exit, let him air all the dirty laundry.

But ultimately, nothing will change until Blank gives up control to his son. He's one of the worst owners in the NFL.

And as.long as Blank is making the decisions, they'll continue to be. He sucks as an owner.

He needs to cede control to his son and ride off into the sunset.

I have a really hard time believing Captain Kirk is not on the sidelines trying to talk to Penis. The dude is too good of a guy. Hell he called him himself to tell he was gonna get the start last year to end the season.

The Falcons have a very good defense, and a roster that should compete for the division crown.

But, Raheem. So. Yeah.

The most precarious situation for NFL rookies is whether a high QB draft pick is going to get good coaching on that crappy team that had a top-10 pick in the draft.

In 2016 everyone noted how crappy LA Rams HC Jeff Fisher was. But they also had the #1 draft pick Jared Goff and no one really talked specifics about the coaching he was getting, until I saw someone take just a slightly deeper dive and discovered that the OC and QB coach on the 2016 Rams were extremely inexperienced at those positions at that time.

Rob Boras was the OC and the only time he previously held the title of OC was at UNLV 2001-2003. And he hasn't been an OC since 2016. So 2016 was the only year that he was an NFL OC.

Then there was Chris Weinke the QB coach. He was QB coach for the Rams 2015-2016. It was his first NFL coaching job.

Goff got extremely lucky that the Rams moved quickly and made the right hire with Sean McVay. Saved Goff's career, even if it didn't quite work out for him in LA. Otherwise his career would have been toast.

They have one of the worst rushing defenses in the league and gave up 323 on the ground against the Colts. This is a top heavy roster with extremely limited depth because of a lot of mid-round draft misses and draft pick trades.

They're top 10 in YPG, number one against the pass, and No. 13 on scoring defense.

The D ain't the problem here. It's rock solid overall, and very good against the pass.

It's a poorly coached team on offense, and very thin at receiver.

It is improved this season without a doubt. Jalon Walker is a stud.

They haven't added any size in the middle of the defensive line since Dontari Poe left after 2017. I'm surprised it took until the San Francisco game for someone to realize you can just line up and ram the ball down the Falcons' throat for four quarters and they can't do anything about it.

The offense is a clusterfrick. Turns out part of the reason for the WR problem is Mooney has been playing through a broken collarbone all season. He broke it on the first day of training camp and they did nothing to add to the WR room. Just a continuation of how poorly they managed Cousins and Koo being hurt last season. They downplay injuries to the detriment of the team.

Some of the Reddit comments are gold

This is the team that blamed matt ryan for everything then tried their hardest to bring known sexual predator deshaun Watson and even failed at being scumbags.

And then said they didn’t need Lamar because they had Desmond Ridder lol

Who knew that Raheem Morris, who sucked as HC for the Bucs 15 years ago, would suck again as a HC. That was such a terrible hire by them and I am very glad for it. Losing to a Darren Rizzi led Saints team and costing themselves the playoffs last year should have been grounds for termination.
