Next one up man. Won’t be long until we have another one. I will say this one was even less realistic than the Jussie or bubba ones

Not lying. There are only three types of people that believe this sorry or hide behind “we need the facts to come out”
1. Complete and total idiots
2. Housewives who just love gossip
3. People that need stories about minority injustice
I have you pegged for number 3 man. I respect you too much for number 1. I respect you shel

I don't claim to know the full story. But it's more than likely somewhere in the middle.
Idk what were the Tuohys intentions. I don't claim to know. But the story of rich boosters finding an elite 5-star athlete, taking him into their home. Within 2 years, his story is included in a book. Within 5 years, an entire movie is made about him. Of which, he didnt even have any involvement in said movie.
That story also sounds very fishy imo.

"The notion that a couple worth hundreds of millions of dollars would connive to withhold a few thousand dollars in profit participation payments from anyone -- let alone from someone they loved as a son -- defies belief," Singer said.
We just had a billionaire President who was charging the secret service over a million dollars to be on Trump properties for his protective detail.

The conservatorship "was established to assist with Mr. Oher’s needs, ranging from getting him health insurance and obtaining a driver’s license to helping with college admissions,"
I hope no one is taking this seriously.
This is the first time I’ve heard someone say with a straight face that this is the point of a conservatorship
Marty Singer is a big name lawyer who has lots of really high-profile clients. This will get very messy for all parties involved.
Singer has represented Kim Kardashian, Jim Carrey, Bill Cosby, Charlie Sheen, and his two latest clients are OT favorite Lizzo and Jonah Hill.
I expect this to pretty much kill any relationship between Oher and the Tuohys.
I saw SJ’s clip from Barstool and he came off as a very nice guy but also as if he was either not privy to all the details or intentionally saying only a handful of things. Fwiw I understand why he would not want to say much in the press right now.
There are very different financial claims being made by the two parties, and it should be pretty easy to see if the Tuohys got millions or several thousand.

100 millionaires commonly go through the troubles of taking people off the streets, bringing them in their house for a few years, to make a few thousand dollars
Such a worthwhile easy scam that makes so much sense!
Makes you wonder why us normal people dont just easily make a few extra thousands like that

Seems it should be easy to prove either way if Oher got paid for the movie or left out with the family got 7 figures or whatever it was.

quote:$900k + 2.5% of net proceeds is being labeled as a "few thousand dollars"
to make a few thousand dollars
A sure sign that you know you have a weak argument is when you have to embellish like you're doing here.
You know it was wayyyyyyyy more than that,, but you keep claiming it was only a "few thousand dollars" because if you said the allegation was over 7 figures like the allegation actually says, that wouldn't look good for your argument.
So to confirm, you're saying ALL millionaires would NEVER do a anything shady for another million, right?

You don't find them opportunistic in the least bit? A book within 2 years, a movie within 5 of even meeting Michael.

225k per person is Ohers claim
And 2.5% of net proceeds is virtually zero for a Hollywood movie
So yes, like I said, it would be 100 millionaires going through all this trouble of taking someone off the street to live with them for the long scam of making thousands of dollars

This wasn’t some easy scam. This shite would have entailed a lot of work for basically nothing material in return for them

225k per person, so for the father and mother doing the scam where they bring in someone to live with them, yes it’s thousands of dollars
And once again, that’s if you slurp up everything oher is saying as 100% truth
So this 100 millionaire family brings in a black teen to live with them for multiple years so they can later get 225k for husband and wife and throw some at their kids
It’s ludicrous to try and take this seriously

It's a football book about the the history importance of the T position in football. My high school coach made us read it in like 2010.
Even still, the Michael Oher story was a pretty major part of the book. So much so, that Oher is featured on one of the book covers.
