Isiah was over the hill by 1992. They picked Stockton and Magic for the point guards on the roster, Stockton was nba 2nd team and defensive 2nd team that year, Isiah didn't make any list. Magic was getting picked no matter what. Tell me where Isiah was better than Stockton leading into the olympics?
Did Jordan campaign to keep Isaiah off the team?
Thomas wasn’t nearly as washed as you’d like us to believe and just came off 3/4 years slapping Jordan out of the playoffs.
Stockton played 7.3 mpg in the Olympics. Averaged 2.8/.3/2.
Coaches wanted that over Isaiah? Who picks the team?

Don’t forget that same Zay bullied MJ so hard he had to beg for rule changes.

He'll be like Tom Brady in that roll. Not good
I predict Jordan will very clearly show that he doesn’t know ball. He didn’t really need to know much in that brand of basketball they played back then. He was pretty lost trying to draft guys to play in today’s game. I don’t think he knows much more than 1 on 1 basketball and selfish “defense.”

Jeez you make some stupid comments

lol no you didn’t. Jordan didn’t understand basketball because you didn’t have to back then? Lmfao the most idiotic takes I’ve ever seen and zero basis for them.

Does this mean Ahmad Rashad is returning to NBC too?

This is pretty much the same as Turner hiring Gretzky when they got NHL rights. He’s not on a lot, but he’s Gretzky, so it was a splash hire to bring attention.

LeBron definitely calling a network now to do the same

It’s not like the Dream Team ran through ‘92 not even calling a single timeout… clearly they didn’t need Isiah
