I'll ever understand how incompetent coaches can be.

It seems like it's been exacerbated this season. A team will have 4th and less than a yard and every single time the QB is in shotgun.

Just saw a video from the stands of the GT TD. Got real quiet.

Looked like his forearm was down but I guess too close to overturn it

I'm going to write a strongly worded letter to Longo about that shite.

So many things had to go wrong for Miami to lose like that. That was unreal

That is the worst coaching I’ve ever seen. No hyperbole
Yep

I legit saw just today the worst coaching decision I've ever seen and the worst call by a ref I've ever seen.

Quite the day.

Why GT didn't kick the extra point? Scared they were going to give up 2 on a blocked extra point?

I was wondering about this as well after looking at plays on gamecast.

If a coach pulled that at an SEC school not named Vanderbilt the fans meet the team at the airport to fight the coach.

I had turned the game off but checked the score and was baffled, so went and rewatched from where I left and could not for the life of me figure out what happened as I was speeding through that last Miami drive.

Not to mention GT had done nothing on offense the entire half and then scored in 24 seconds.

The atrocious decision to not kneel will really overshadow how terrible the defense is on the Ga Tech TD.

Recall:

quote:

Miracle at the Meadowlands

?

The New York Giants had the ball and the lead with time expiring. They only needed to take a knee to send the Eagles packing. Yet instead, Giants offensive coordinator Bob Gibson called a run play. The handoff was mishandled and the ball grabbed by Eagles defender Herm Edwards and returned for the game winning touchdown.

Gibson not only lost his job, but his entire football career. His blunder gave way to the new "victory formation" that is still in use today.

Ohh, Mario
