So did Jacksonville. And a Chiefs team that lost to Indianapolis a week later.

Maybe he’s not that good. Period.

Jayden Daniels will be a 2nd or 3rd rd pick. Higher than most on Kiper’s list

don’t understand how the Wake Forrest QB Sam Hartman isn’t on the top 10 list somewhere — guy coming off of a 50 TD season combined (39 Pass TDs/ 11 Run TDs) Not to mention he just threw 6 TDs on clemson… Am I missing something?

He short armed a lot of those deep balls against Clemson. A few resulted in the WR coming back to the ball and getting a penalty out of it so it worked but he didn’t seem to really have enough arm to really hit it deep. Although he was pretty sharp everywhere else. That might be why he’s so low

He was 33-48 for 334 yds and 3 TDs against the Chiefs.
If you don't think Herbert is good you probably shouldn't be talking about football.

Justin Fields 2.0

Other than playing for Ohio State this is a terrible comparison. Stroud makes pro throws now.

Richardson is infinitely more talented than Justin Fields. He’s had a couple starts and already had the best game of any QB this year, a better game than any Fields has ever had.

I know people can become prisoners of the moment, but let’s not forget that Justin Fields torched then #2 Clemson in the 2021 Sugar Bowl, going 22 of 28 for 385 yards and 6 TD while rushing for 42 yards and another TD. I’d put that above Richardson putting up a ton of passing yards in a loss to Tennessee.

Richardson has a roster the size of a 1A football team because of the rebuild, Fields had a top 2 roster nationally. This is Richardsons 5th start? That was Fields’ 22nd-23rd. I only bring this up because you’ve brought in qualifiers and circumstances. Richardson totaled 515 yards and 4TDs with no help, rest of the team went for about 3ypc. Fields totaled 427 in that game with his teammates providing 212 yards rushing at nearly 6 yards per clip. Just watch the games side by side, Richardson made throws Fields has never made and can’t make last Saturday.

I think a team with a decent QB might give him a look as a 3rd round development guy and see if they can coach him up for depth. He isn't anywhere near ready for the league by next year. But he is a powerful and athletic guy.

Richardson needs to stay another year and develop some more but the physical tools are all there.

Day 3 pick at best. You’re delusional.

What’s crazy is he’s 19 years old still, turns 20 in about a month. I think he’s good, but would probably benefit from another year in college.

You’re just saying this because e you want him to come back. He needs to go pro

Obviously that’s part of it, but I truly think he could use an extra year. If Leipold leaves and Daniels keeps it up the rest of the year, then he should leave.
