After trading down? Last time a safety went top 3?
If they were going to stay at 3 I’d rather Hamilton than a tackle. We really need interior help on the o-line.
Who am I kidding, the entire team needs a talent upgrade. So BPA is fine. But the 2 tackles we have now are fine.

Pickett is the guy to watch...I think he jumps up boards and someone gets desperate for a QB as usual.
Yeah although it is not a strong QB class, one is going to be hyped up leading to the draft and one team is going to bite.

1. Hutchison > Thibodeaux - Don't think Hutch should be a #1 overall pick but his motor is fantastic and he's got some moves. Thibodeaux never had what could be called a dominant season as a collegian. How can we expect him to do it as a pro?
2. Stingley seems both too high based on how he played in limited action the past two years and too low based on the film he put out there as a freshman. I think it's legitimate to ask what kind of effort you're going to get from him when he's cashed a $15 million signing bonus.
3. This QB class. Yuck. Hard to see any of these guys as a regular starter in either of their first two seasons. Good luck to any team needing a QB of the future in this draft.
4. Davis is dominant at what he does but I don't know if that warrants a mid-first round pick. The NFL is a passing league, which means he's basically a one-down and situational guy. Is he going to be Vince Wilfork? Would Vince Wilfork be Vince Wilfork in 2021 NFL?
5. Crazy that you've got the two OSU wideouts there, Williams, who couldn't get on the field at OSU, and the best of them all isn't draft eligible. Hartline is amazing. Yeah, those guys are all talented, but guys who didn't play much like Harrison stepped up huge right when their number was called in the Rose Bowl.

Is Jameis that bad? I thought he was playing very well for the Saints before he got hurt. He was on pace for a 32 TD, 7 INT season with a 103 QB Rating and 64 QBR.

I like Pickett a lot, but Carson Strong of Nevada is my favorite QB in this draft. He has the size, arm, everything. Steelers, if you take a QB, take him or Pickett and not that midget Corral.

Dude’s 6’2 not Kyler Murray.

He’s a free agent. I think the Saints would love him at another low price, but I’m not sure he’s gonna sign a 3rd straight team friendly deal with the Saints if there’s another team out there desperate enough to offer him more for multiple years.

And Drew Brees was listed at 6'1".
Dude is slight. You really want him playing 6 games a year against the AFC North? Plus his passing needs work.
No thanks. Give me OL or Pickett or Strong.

This guy is retarded Pickens will go in the first round. He’s 6’4 will run a a 4.6 and makes the most ridiculous catches I’ve seen since AJ Green. His injury definitely hurt him and idk if declaring was wise but the fact he tore his acl in camp and had HUGE catches for us in SEC champ and both playoff games says something about him imo.

Lengthy injury history and average production when he did play. A 4.6 would not help.

He had similar production to AJ green in college when full go. His knock will be his immaturity and if he’s grown up. If he didn’t get hurt he would have been top 10-15. But there’s no way he slides past the 1st. Dude has every single thing a GM wet dreams about in a wr

And ask Cindy about what average profuction he was about to drop this year lol. It’s still amazing to me he made it back by tech. Dud must be a machine

Also tell me you don’t watch UGA without telling me or that you know what NFL guys value. No one cares if some college kid explodes for 18 TDS and 1400 yard it has absolutely nothing to do with it they’ll be good or are ready for the NFL. Now the the things can obviously coexist like Devonte Smith for example recently. UGA isn’t a team that has ever or will ever ask a player to do what you think first round picks need to do. Bowers might be the first because I’m fairly sure he’s a Demi god. Pickens is extremely elite at multiple things that front offices dream over most that are unteachable. Size, faster than AJ was at that size; AMAZING blocker as a boundry wr, one of the best deep ball receivers I can remember in a decade and a catch radius a mile wide, the ability to make it be highlight play. Someone who had the drive and determination to tear his acl in spring and not just sit incNFL laurels made it back by game 12 and had huge moments in a national championship run. The man had chest unlike Jamar. Pickens literally only knock is his maturity and no longer a me first guy as he was well known for being as a freshmen.

I think Pickens will depend on the combine. If he’s slower than 4.55 no shot he’s first round.
Posted on 1/20/22 at 6:12 pm to Skyler97
He may run that hand timed. He’s not a guy who relies on speed. 4.6 is what he has mostly been timed at post injury on official clocks. That will be sufficient. If I remember AJ was around a 4.6. I’m not saying he will go pre 15 although it wouldn’t shock me with an amazing combine and interview. But there’s a negative % chance he gets to round 2

A 4.6 for a guy like Pickens and how he plays is plenty. He is such an amazing deep ball receiver because of physical play beating the corners at the line and his god like ball skills. He’s an absolute zone killer and murders people running skiing post finding holes in zones. In man coverage he has strong hands and again wins with physically to get off the line and get you that first down on a slant

Also don’t feel like finding the guy who reallly explained this in a post but I don’t get Jordan Davis being a mid first rounder. He’s not Grady Jarret. He is absolute amazing at what he does, but the debate is how truly important is what he does in today’s game and is his ability to do it for maybe 30 plays a game probably fewer with nfl roster size worth that pick?

Chase had one and a half of Pickens' college career in one season so he could take a year off.
