Pay dallastiger55 no mind. He literally says OU is unstoppable every season until they shite the bed on the big stage.

I can't tell if he's serious or is doing some sort of jinx on the program.

Did someone kidnap all the Clemson fans here for ransom?

Honestly, I could watch Clemson and Alabama play football in the natty again and be a perfectly happy camper.

Alabama has taken a step back on defense this year, and their offense sputters. It's one of Saban's weakest teams in recent memory that will still probably go undefeated before the playoffs and play Clemson or OU in the natty.

Still not sold on the QB, but they are loaded everywhere else. I'll still say Bama is the best.

Jackson is also not an accurate passer. He won the Heisman last year bc of his running ability. He was less than 55% completion percentage last year.

I would still want to see Fitzgerald improve a bit more as a passer.

My thoughts exactly. This isn't a great Saban team but at the moment, I don't see anyone in the SEC who could stop us. Miss State has my attention though.

Clemson looks really good. I'd put them at #1 right now.

I thought Clemson would take a step back this season with Kelly Bryant taking over...something like a 9-3 season, with a return to the playoff picture in the next 2-3 years when Trevor Lawrence takes over. But it looks like they are a 2 loss team, AT WORST, this season, with a good shot to make the playoffs this season with Bryant as the QB, which would certainly put them in a great position next season as well. Bottom line, the way Dabo is recruiting, if he can keep Venables on the staff, which I just can't imagine him doing after this season unless Venables is simply content on being a DC, Clemson will be in the playoff picture every year for the next 4-5 years.

MSU is a good team, obviously better than LSU thought. But it's moreso of us just being not that good of a team at all. I could see them finishing second in the west only behind Bama possibly. That's the highest.

Gotta give kudos to Dabo. Everyone said they would take a step back when Boyd left, then Watson comes up and wins them a national title. Critics doubted them again, and now they're one of the best, if not the best, team in the country this year with a brand new QB.

Clemson's defense is legit.

This year's running game is going to be fun to watch. Going into season the talking heads were saying we didn't have a running back when in reality we have the most depth we've had since James Davis and CJ Spiller. They're basically rotating 4 very good backs and keeping fresh legs the whole game. It really doesn't matter who the starter is. Also Kelly Bryant runs like a running back once he's beyond the line of scrimmage.

I don't see two losses on their schedule.

I guess at worst, I can buy that. At Va. Tech will be tricky. They're a good team.

We still have a lot of football left before we start talking about the best teams. After three weeks we are certainly getting a better idea of the what teams are real and what teams are pretenders.

To say Clemson has exceeded expectations is a bit of an understatement. But that is a "So far". The offense is playing quite a bit more disciplined than last year because Kelly Bryant is staying within his skill set and not relying of improvisation as Deshaun Watson was so good at. Turnovers are way down....Special Teams is doing a fine job as well. (Placer Kicker is a little shaky).

VT is the next big challenge in 2 weeks. Bud Foster has a great defensive mind and they have tremendous fans up at Blacksburg where the game will be played. If we get out of that game with a 5-0 record then we could be looking at at another special year.

As much as people can argue it doesn't matter, it's still criminally inexcusable that they aren't ranked #1.

It's hard to know how good teams you beat early in a season are, but I would agree Clemson has looked good. Only concern I would have is they did just come off of only scoring 14 at home against Auburn. I know recently they put up 50 on L'ville, but that will stick for a few more weeks til they show they can put up points on good defenses.

They would be my #1, with Bama/OU 2/3
