Him dying unexpectedly will add to his legacy.

since this thread is off the rails, i have to say i'm sad for Kobe that his last major news piece before dying was him lying out of his arse about the WNBA

The reaction around the league tells you how much kob was revered. The analytics don’t put Kobe up there with mike and lebron but all the guys who played against him have the ultimate respect for his work ethic and competiveness and hold him In the highest esteem. Nothing but respect for kob from me.

Typical Cuban having to one up the rest of the league owners, sorry managers. Couldn't leave it at a statement, he had to do something to get his name out there

I don’t read every post on this board. If something has happened to you, then I apologize.

If you are being sincere, let’s just say that bad man didn’t touch anyone else ever again.

I am sincere. I just looked back about the past year and didn’t see any post by Jody that told his story

c'mon dude. we can argue every damn thing about sports is emotional and irrational

it's just dudes running and jumping around throwing an orange ball into a ten foot net.

but it's bigger than that. Kobe is bigger than that. some things you can't explain. they are sacred.

Kobe is sacred.

You've probably heard about him before. And you've probably seen video related to his story before. Do an internet search on Gary Plauche.

today has been weird on that level. it's shocking and super sad (esp since his kid was with him), but people are going like 500% overboard

Are you really trying to assign a numerical value to human emotion? Jake, this why you are gonna die alone.

LOL!

I felt he was being sincere...he...like me...was making a message board joke. Like Baw and $3.50.

But your response is 100%

That’s really a negative thing to say about another poster here. We are all brothers and sisters here. Let’s clean up the language and talk with more love.

Jake will never admit that he would get destroyed by every mcneese cowgirl basketball player who over donned a jersey

Kobe is not Jackie Robinson. He didn’t change the culture of the league. The fact that the Lakers retired 2 of his numbers gave him the respect he deserved while he was alive to see it.

The Mavericks thing is more about Douchbag Cuban than Kobe.
